The West Johnston Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 24. West Johnston will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC).
The Yellow Jackets (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Western Harnett defeated Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
