West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Wolf Pack (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs enter the challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista was tipped by Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 2-0 league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).
