In Tuesday's league outing, the host Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls.
With the triumph, Cottonwood Classical Prep advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a A/3A District 1 test on Thursday, September 25. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 4-4. Bosque 1-1 in their recent league test against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM)
The Owls now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gallup for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Oak Grove Classical Academy will play a Bengals squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 0-8.
