Indiana High School Soccer - Hammond Baptist nudges Heritage Christian

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Hammond Baptist Swordsmen soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Heritage Christian Defenders.
With the triumph, Hammond Baptist moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Swordsmen host HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 14-4.
The Defenders now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeMotte Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Heritage Christian will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Knights record now stands at 5-6.
