The Hickory Grove Christian Lions soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Metrolina Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina bout on Thursday, September 25. Hickory Grove Christian will play a Warriors squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-9.

The NightHawks (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights come into the game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Lee Park Prep edged Kingdom Leadership (Fort Mill, SC), 9-0, in a non-league game.
