North Carolina High School Soccer - Hickory knocks off North Lincoln

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Hickory Red Tornadoes soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the North Lincoln Knights.
The Red Tornadoes (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils go into the Western Foothills 4A/5A outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Maiden by Foard (Newton, NC), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Knights clash with the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A test, on Thursday, September 25. North Lincoln will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the test with a 12-1 record after their 10-1 league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC).
