Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the host Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), saw Riverside's soccer squad hold off Old Forge by a count of 2-1.

The Vikings (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Chargers enter the Lackawanna - Division III match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Carbondale Area nipped Forest City (Forest City, PA), 1-0, in a league match.

The Blue Devils now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Ridge for a Lackawanna - Division III match on Thursday, September 25. Old Forge will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-2 league win over Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-7.
