The Pirates (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets come into the 2A Region 3 match with a 17-1 record. In their last game, Cook defeated Ware County (Waycross, GA), 8-0, in a non-league game.

The Cougars now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pierce County for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 25. Crisp County will confront a Bears team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Bears record now stands at 14-7.
