Georgia High School Softball - Douglas County can't get by New Manchester

The New Manchester Jaguar edged the visiting Douglas County Tigers softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Coming up next, the Jaguar confront the Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) in a 5A Region 5 battle, on Thursday, September 25. New Manchester will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 4-12 record after their 15-0 league loss to Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA).
The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers enter the 6A Region 2 challenge with a 4-17 record. In their last challenge, Chapel Hill was nudged by Bremen (Bremen, GA), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.
