In Tuesday's league test, the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), by a count of 19-0.
Next, the Trojans meet the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 test, on Wednesday, September 24. Gordon Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 7-0 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA).
The Warriors (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Lions enter the 1A D-I Region 7 contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage thwarted Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 5-4, in a league contest.
