Georgia High School Softball - Lamar County bounces Jasper County

The Lamar County Trojans softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes to 6 in the Trojans league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peach County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. Lamar County will confront a Trojans team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-9.

The Hurricanes (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against McNair (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs enter the 1A D-I Region 4 challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, McNair was routed by Chamblee (Chamblee, GA), 18-0, in a non-league challenge.
