The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), observed Pickens's softball team prevail over Lumpkin County by a tally of 8-0.

The Dragons (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans enter the 3A Region 6 contest with a 6-17 record. In their last contest, Greater Atlanta Christian was routed by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 13-1, in a league contest.

The Indians now hold a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Rabun County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 24. Lumpkin County will face a Wildcats team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-17.
