With the triumph, Pinewood Christian upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Patriots host Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to play the Gators in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 2 game on Thursday, September 25. The Gators enter the game with a record of 1-15. Bulloch Academy lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA)

The Raiders now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jenkins for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. Savannah Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-14.
