In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Stratford Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Tupelo Tigers.
The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Tupelo (Tupelo, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, Tupelo tipped Allen (Allen, OK), 10-4, in a non-league game.
The Tigers now hold a 8-17 record. They play next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 23. Tupelo will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Latta (Ada, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.
