In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Arroyo Dons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hayward Farmers.

The Dons (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Grizzlies come into the West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, San Lorenzo edged Tennyson (Hayward, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Farmers meet the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Hayward will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA).
