Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Whale Branch upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC) to meet the Buccaneers in a AA Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Bridges Prep won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hampton County (Varnville, SC)

The Warhorses now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridges Prep for a AA Region 5 test on Tuesday, September 30. Barnwell will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-6.
