In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Battle Ground Academy Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Providence Christian Academy LIONS.

The Wildcats (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Lipscomb Academy was nudged by Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the LIONS play the Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN) in a D-II A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Providence Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Cecilia Academy (Nashville, TN).
