Illinois High School Volleyball - Nashville Benton

Benton Rangers (Benton, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the visiting Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Rangers (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Redbirds come into the Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Frankfort lost by DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL) in a Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi test, on Thursday, September 25. Nashville will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 14-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL).
