The Birdville Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Grapevine Mustangs to 0 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now possess a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, September 26. Birdville will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ryan (Denton, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-10.
With the loss, Grapevine drops to 16-16 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX) to confront the Royals in a 5A Region I District 6 game on Friday, September 26. The Royals enter the game with a record of 8-18. Richland lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX)
