Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Broncs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Belle Fourche was beaten by Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Thunderhawks face the Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 25. Tiospaye Topa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Skyhawks come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to McIntosh (McIntosh, SD).
