North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cape Fear tips Scotland

The Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) volleyball held off the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's league match.

Next up, the Colts battle the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a Tri-County 6A/7A match, on Thursday, September 25. Cape Fear will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).

The Fighting Scots (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears enter the Tri-County 6A/7A match with a 14-2 record. In their last match, Gray's Creek held off Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
