Michigan High School Volleyball - Lapeer over Carman-Ainsworth

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) and the visiting Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI), observed Lapeer's volleyball team top Carman-Ainsworth by a count of 3-0.

The Lightning (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers go into the Saginaw Valley battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Powers Catholic achieved victory over Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cavaliers now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Blanc for a Saginaw Valley contest on Thursday, September 25. Carman-Ainsworth will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Davison (Davison, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-14.
