North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carolina International overwhelmed by Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to meet the Ironmen in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 24. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Cherryville won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

Next, the Comets face the Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test, on Thursday, September 25. Carolina International will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Raptors go into the test with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
