In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Izard County Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Omaha (Omaha, AR). The Eagles enter the 2A 2 challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Omaha beat Alpena (Alpena, AR), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) in a 2A 2 test, on Thursday, September 25. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR).
