In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Central Christian Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Independent Panthers.
The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Independent (Wichita, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-14 record. In their last challenge, Independent was beaten by Newton (Home School) (Newton, KS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now sport a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Independent will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Reno County HomeSchool (Hutchinson, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
