The Dan River Wildcats volleyball squad (Ringgold, VA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA)

With the win, Chatham improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cavaliers host Altavista (Altavista, VA) to encounter the Colonels in a Dogwood battle on Thursday, September 25. The Colonels go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Altavista lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Gretna (Gretna, VA)

Next, the Wildcats meet the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a Dogwood contest, on Thursday, September 25. Dan River will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Generals enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
