The Cherokee Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils to 0 in the Braves league victory on Tuesday.

Next up, the Braves confront the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A game, on Thursday, September 25. Cherokee will attempt to advance on its 18-8 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC).

The Maroon Devils (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A game with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, Rosman was topped by Murphy (Murphy, NC), 3-0, in a league bout.
