Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) and the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), observed China Spring's volleyball team top Connally by a count of 3-1.
The Cougars (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets go into the 4A Region III District 23 battle with a 19-13 record. In their last battle, Robinson was defeated by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Cadets now own a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gatesville for a 4A Region III District 23 battle on Friday, September 26. Connally will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 23-6.
