Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County edged by Clinton County

The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball squad (Edmonton, KY), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY)

With the victory, Clinton County upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year. The Bulldogs host Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY) to meet the Falcons in a District 16 contest on Thursday, September 25. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 9-5. Monroe County lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY)

Next, the Hornets meet the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Metcalfe County will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 15-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Glasgow (Glasgow, KY).
