Texas High School Volleyball - Cooper overwhelmed by Wylie

September 23, 2025: Abilene, TX 79605

Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (25-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Leopards come into the 5A Region I District 4 challenge with a 12-22 record. In their last challenge, Legacy beat Electra (Electra, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX).
