Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY) and the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), observed Dayton's volleyball team top Holmes by a count of 2-0.

The Greendevils (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears go into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Bracken County achieved victory over Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. Holmes will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-14.
