In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Deep Creek Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Lakeland Cavaliers.
The Hornets (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves come into the Southeastern challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Indian River beat Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers play the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA).
