Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Millers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts come into the 5A Midwestern challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Thurston was nudged by Churchill (Eugene, OR), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Midwestern challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Eagle Point will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Ashland (Ashland, OR).
