In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Westmont Warriors.

The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins come into the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Branham was nudged by Leland (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Westmont will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
