Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH) and the visiting Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH), observed Piqua's volleyball team top Fairborn by a count of 3-0.
The Indians (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Vandalia, OH). The Aviators go into the Miami Valley League - Miami battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Butler achieved victory over Troy (Troy, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Skyhawks now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sidney for a Miami Valley League - Valley contest on Wednesday, September 24. Fairborn will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-3.
