Arizona High School Volleyball - Fairfax tips Metro Tech

The Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) volleyball held off the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Stampede now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host McClintock for a 5A - Metro match on Thursday, September 25. Fairfax will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 7-4.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions enter the 5A - Metro match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Alhambra held off Central (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0, in a league match.
