Virginia High School Volleyball - Galax tips Fort Chiswell

September 23, 2025: Galax, VA 24333

The Galax Maroon Tide volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers to 2 in the Maroon Tide league triumph on Tuesday.

The Maroon Tide now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson County for a Mountain Empire match on Wednesday, September 24. Galax will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-2.

The Pioneers (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles enter the Mountain Empire match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Auburn was tipped by Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
