Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Bluff for a 2A Area 13 challenge on Thursday, September 25. Gaston will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
