The Goliad Tigers topped the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers play the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 outing, on Friday, September 26. Goliad will attempt to better on its 28-3 season record. The Brahmas come into the outing with a 26-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Poth (Poth, TX).

The Mustangs (9-15) will now prepare for their game against Luling (Luling, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region IV District 26 game with a 2-16 record. In their last game, Luling was dropped by Karnes City (Karnes City, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
