Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) and the visiting Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), observed Woodford County's volleyball team top Grant County by a tally of 3-1.

The Yellowjackets (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers enter the non-league test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Franklin County was defeated by Tates Creek (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Madonna for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 24. Grant County will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.
