Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against University Charter (Livingston, AL). The Trail Blazers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, University Charter beat Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Hale County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Greensboro (Greensboro, AL).
