Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against New Diana (Diana, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region II District 13 challenge with a 15-16 record. In their last challenge, New Diana beat Jefferson (Jefferson, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapel Hill for a 3A Region II District 13 test on Friday, September 26. Hughes Springs will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-10.
