North Carolina High School Volleyball - Harnett Central over Western Harnett

September 23, 2025: Lillington, NC 27546

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) and the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), saw Harnett Central's volleyball squad notch a victory over Western Harnett by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Harnett Central moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Trojans host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to battle the Vikings in a Carolina Pines 6A contest on Thursday, September 25. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 15-1. Union Pines won 3-1 in their recent league contest against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)

Next, the Eagles battle the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A battle, on Thursday, September 25. Western Harnett will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC).
