The Independence 76ers volleyball team (San Jose, CA), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA)
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals enter the BVAL - West Valley contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant was knocked off by Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The 76ers now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milpitas for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. Independence will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
