The Long County Blue Tide volleyball squad (Ludowici, GA), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA)
With the win, Islands improves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Sharks travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 11-14. Southeast Bulloch lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wayne County (Jesup, GA)
Next, the Blue Tide meet the Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Long County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record.
