Virginia High School Volleyball - Monacan James River Midlothian

James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Rapids (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Falcons come into the Dominion challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Huguenot lost by Armstrong (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Chiefs now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manchester for a Dominion test on Thursday, September 25. Monacan will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-7.
