Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Lawrence County advances its record to 5-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to face the Bobcats in a District 58 test on Thursday, September 25. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 10-9. Betsy Layne lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY)
The Blackcats now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belfry for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Prestonsburg will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.
