In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Plainview Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Lubbock Westerners.

With the win, Plainview improves its record to 10-15 on the season. The Bulldogs host Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to face the Rebels in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, September 26. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 20-9. Tascosa won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)

Next, the Westerners face the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 test, on Saturday, September 27. Lubbock will attempt to improve on its 3-25 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Vega (Vega, TX).
