Ohio High School Volleyball - McDonald over Springfield

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) and the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), observed McDonald's volleyball team top Springfield by a count of 3-0.

With the win, McDonald improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 13-3. LaBrae won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Champion (Warren, OH)

The Tigers now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinley for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet battle on Monday, September 29.
