    • North Carolina High School Volleyball - Statesville ripped by Mooresville

    September 23, 2025: Statesville, NC 28677

    Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) and the host Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC), observed Mooresville's volleyball team top Statesville by a count of 3-0.

    The Blue Devils (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the North Piedmont 6A/7A contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, South Iredell notched a victory over North Iredell (Olin, NC), 3-1, in a league contest.

    Next, the Greyhounds meet the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a North Piedmont 6A/7A battle, on Thursday, September 25. Statesville will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).
